Affiliate Disclosure & Privacy
Plain-English on how Inbox Jury makes money and handles your data. Last updated June 2026.
Affiliate disclosure
Inbox Jury participates in affiliate programs for the email marketing tools we review, including Constant Contact and others we add over time. This means that when you click a link on this site and sign up for a product, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. You pay exactly what you would have paid going direct.
This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). Where a page contains affiliate links, we also say so clearly in a notice near the top of that page, so you always know before you click.
How affiliate links work
When you follow an affiliate link, the destination site may place a cookie that credits Inbox Jury if you go on to sign up, sometimes within a set window of days. We never see your payment details, and we are not party to the transaction — you deal directly with the software company. Using our links is entirely optional; you are always free to visit any tool directly, and you will get the same price either way.
Editorial independence
Affiliate commissions fund our work, but they do not buy a ranking. We decide which tool we recommend — and in what order — based on honest evaluation, before any affiliate link is placed. We regularly recommend free or lower-cost alternatives when they are the better choice for a reader, even though doing so earns us nothing. If a recommendation ever conflicts with what would pay us most, we follow the recommendation. Our reviews include genuine cons, and we name the situations where a tool is the wrong fit.
Privacy
We aim to collect as little as possible:
- Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are helpful (aggregate page views, general location, device type). We do not sell your data to anyone.
- Cookies. This site uses minimal cookies. Affiliate partners may set a cookie when you click through to their site so they can credit the referral — that is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs to deliver and secure the pages.
- No accounts. Inbox Jury does not ask you to create an account or hand over personal information to read our content.
Your choices
You are in control of the data you share. You can browse with cookies disabled or cleared through your browser settings; the site will still work, though affiliate referrals may not be credited. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and to opt out of its sale — and because we do not sell personal data, the latter is already covered. To make any request, just email us.
Data retention and changes
We keep only what we need for as long as it is useful — aggregate analytics are retained in summarized form, and standard server logs are rotated and discarded on a routine schedule. We may update this policy as the site grows or as the law changes; when we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
